Innocence Lost
Intrusive Technology and Guarding the Heart of Your Child
April 3 at 6pm
Please RSVP by clicking here to email Sharon Chappell.
Free childcare available; RSVP required.
Our world is literally awash in technology and access to the internet. Gaming consoles, phones, MP3 players, tablets, apps, laptops and PCs all put the entire world at the fingertips of your child. Within this flood of information, there are countless ways your child might be exposed to images and words that DO NOT reflect your values. Do you want your child to learn about sex from a hardcore pornography site? Do you want to expose them inadvertantly to a highly addictive experience of pornography? This event will inform and equip you to protect your child from materials that could rob them of their innocence.

Passion Week Experiences
March 24 - 31, (click for more information)
Please join us for Passion Week, a time when we are all called to draw closer to God. Special services, prayer experiences, and community celebrations mark this most sacred time.

THE PRAYER LABYRINTH
Developed in Europe during the middle ages, the labyrinth
simulates a Christian pilgrimage, a walk directly into the
heart of God.
WHY WOULD I DO THIS?
The labyrinth is an ancient form of prayer that helps us to quiet our minds in order to hear from God. In a life filled with noise and busyness, it is an excellent way to slow down and connect our minds as well as our spirits. It is an exercise in deep listening.
WHEN?
At Liberty Crossings UMC a prayer labyrinth will be available in our worship center during the following hours of Passion Week:
Monday March 25 from noon until 8:00 PM
Tuesday, March 26 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM
Wednesday, March 27 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM
Childcare will be available on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The worship center will be established as a quiet place during these times so that we can experience the labyrinth to connect with God in prayer and reflection.
